Au Togo, le découpage officiel de la nouvelle année scolaire 2023-2024, a été rendu public par une décision interministérielle signée vendredi 6 octobre 2023 par les 3 ministres en charge du secteur de l’éducation, le Prof Dodzi Kokoroko, Prof Majesté Ihou Wateba et Mr Kokou Hodin. On remarque que dans ce découpage, des congés de détente sont introduits dans le programme de l’année scolaire en cours qui prendra officiellement fin, le 12 juillet 2024.
Le premier congé de détente est prévu du 27 octobre au 5 novembre 2023. Soit une durée de 09 jours. Le second congé de détente de 10 jours est programmé au 2e trimestre de l’année qui débute le 16 février au 25 février 2024 au soir.
Cette décision des 3 ministres d’introduire des congés de détente, prend effet immédiatement à partir de sa signature dans les écoles publiques, également dans les établissements scolaires privés laïcs et confessionnels des enseignements préscolaire, primaire, secondaire général et technique.
Ce nouveau découpage de l’année académique 2023-2024, ne concerne pas les apprentis en formation chez les maîtres artisans et les professionnels en perfectionnement qui devront suivent leurs programmations habituelles.
La décision précise également que les dates de la rentrée et des vacances universitaires sont fixées par le ministre de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche.
Découpe de l’année scolaire
PREMIER TRIMESTRE (12,5 semaines d’enseignement)
1ère période de cours : Du 18 septembre au 27 octobre 2023 au soir (40 jours)
Congés de détente : Du 27 octobre au soir au 5 novembre 2023 inclus (09 jours)
2e période de cours : Du 6 novembre au 22 décembre 2023 au soir (46 jours)
Congés de Noël : Du 22 décembre 2023 au soir au 03 janvier 2024 au soir (11 jours)
DEUXIEME TRIMESTRE (12,5 semaines d’enseignement)
1ère période de cours : Du 04 janvier au 16 février 2024 au soir (42 jours)
Congés détente : Du 16 février au soir au 25 février 2024 au soir (10 jours)
2e période de cours : Du 26 février au 12 avril 2024 au soir (47 jours)
Congés de Pâques : Du 12 avril 2024 au soir au 21 avril au soir (10 jours)
TROISIEME TRIMESTRE (10,5 semaines d’enseignement)
Période scolaire : Du 22 avril au 12 juillet 2024 (72 jours)
Grandes vacances : Du 12 juillet 2024 au soir au 15 septembre au soir (65 jours)
Rentrée scolaire 2024-2025 : lundi 16 septembre 2024 au matin.
