Issu d’une famille d’artistes et passionné par la photo dès son jeune âge, aussi durant ses études par la réalisation cinématographique, la vidéo et le graphisme, le togolais Gyl Senaya, est devenu aujourd’hui un photographe hors pair si l’on voit la qualité de ses portraits qui accordent la même attention aux modèles qu’ils soient célèbres ou inconnus.

Gyl Senaya a eu un parcours très riche. Après son brillant baccalauréat série D à Lomé, l’homme a d’abord suivi une solide formation de 1994- 1999 en Lumière, montage et en technique de prise de Son par la DCN de Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
De nos jours,Gyl Sénaya totalise à son actif 15 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans le domaine de lumière,le cadrage et montage, c’est-à-dire des docu-fiction, le documentaire,les films fictions et les films publicitaires. Le savoir-faire du génie Gyl s’étend jusqu’au film d’entreprise,aux reportages,aux tournages studio et extérieur,au repérage et choix des lieux.
