TOGO : À la découverte d’un génie créateur, l’artiste peintre sculpteur et dessinateur Blaise QUENUM
Il arrive qu’à l’évocation du nom de certains pays, l’on pense automatiquement à un artiste connu ou à un sportif célèbre. Au Togo, nous avons nos Toofan et notre Shéyi Emmanuel Adebayor. Pourtant beaucoup d’autres artistes créateurs togolais mériteraient aussi d’être connus pour leurs œuvres, félicités pour leurs génies créateurs afin qu’ils atteignent un public plus large et diversifié.
Le Togo a un artiste peintre dessinateur et sculptueur du nom de Blaise QUENUM, bien célèbre dans la région des 4 communes des lacs et connu dans la sous région.
Comme les génies se distinguent très tôt, Blaise QUENUM a d’abord commencé le travail de l’art de peinture depuis le primaire à Aného .Au collège le jeune artiste Blaise maîtrisait déjà les statues,la sculpture en ciment. Après son brillant BEPC,il part renforcer sa formation en peinture au Ghana pour trois ans. De retour dans son Aného natal où il installe son atelier,le célèbre artiste peintre a commencé par mettre en pratique sa brillante formation reçue au Ghana. C’est ainsi qu’il a commencé par faire des dessins de carreaux, mosaïque carreau, statues en ciment,en bois des dessins en tableau et l’art plastique est son domaine de prédilection. L’artiste Blaise QUENUM participe régulièrement aux compétitions au Bénin au Ghana au Burkina Faso au Togo et dans d’autres pays.

Dans son pays le Togo,le génie artiste peintre dessinateur a participé à des grands travaux en peinture dans plusieurs hôtels à Lomé et à Aného. On peut voir ses célèbres oeuvres d’art à l’hôtel Safari à Agbodrafo et dans plusieurs hôtels dans la ville de Lomé.
En 2001, il a fait ses expositions à l’hôtel 2 février.Et comme rien ne manque aux génies,notre célèbre artiste peintre dessinateur Blaise QUENUM fait aussi de la sérigraphie, bref rien de ce qui est peinture n’échappe à Blaise QUENUM. Il a tout récemment remporté une compétition lancée par le département des Yvelines Togo qui est partenaire de la mairie d’Aného.
