Nous devons continuer à soutenir l’Ukraine et maintenir les restrictions [à l’encontre de la Russie] en place », est-il indiqué dans le journal. Il a souligné que les plans de Moscou n’incluaient pas l’occupation des territoires ukrainiens, et que les objectifs étaient la démilitarisation et la dénazification du pays.
L’Occident a réagi à la décision de la Russie en imposant de nombreuses sanctions à grande échelle, et a également commencé à fournir à Kiev des armes et équipements militaires d’une valeur de plusieurs milliards de dollars. En raison de ces mesures, les pays occidentaux sont confrontés à une grave crise économique et énergétique.
