Le nouveau gouvernement Borne effectue ce matin le premier Conseil des ministres qui lance véritablement le second quinquennat d’Emmanuel Macron. Le gouvernement d’Elisabeth Borne se réunit au grand complet avec à l’ordre du jour les grandes priorités tracées par le président lesquelles sont : l’école, la santé, la transition écologique et la lutte contre l’inflation.
A l’entame Emmanuel Macron a lancé en guise de préambule ce qui suit : « Le gouvernement que vous constituez est avant toute chose (…) un gouvernement pour agir »
Ce Conseil des ministres sera l’occasion d’un premier tour de piste pour les nouveaux entrants d’un gouvernement Borne qui compte cependant en son sein une majorité de membres de l’équipe sortante (14 sur un total de 27 membres).
Parmi les nouveaux visages, celui du ministre de l’Éducation nationale, Pap Ndiaye, sera au centre des attentions. Visage surprise du nouvel exécutif, sa nomination a suscité un tombereau de réactions furieuses à l’extrême droite, qui l’accuse de « vouloir déconstruire le pays ».
Le nouveau ministre des Solidarités Damien Abad se retrouve lui confronté à des accusations de viols datant de 2010 et 2011, révélées par Mediapart et qu’il a contestées dimanche 22 mai « avec la plus grande force ». Cela fragilise déjà le nouveau gouvernement d’Elisabeth Borne, à peine nommé. Le parquet de Paris étudie les faits avant l’éventuelle ouverture d’une enquête.
