Covid19/ Religion : Les célestes n’iront pas à leur traditionnel pèlerinage cette année
Les fidèles de l’église du christianisme céleste ne seront pas à leur traditionnelle rencontre annuelle cette année. Comme c’est le cas, l’année dernière, les responsables de cette congrégation religieuse ont décidé de l’annulation de l’édition 2021 du pèlerinage annuel dans la commune de Sèmè-Kpodji pour se conformer aux mesures restrictives de lutte contre la prolifération la Covid-19.
La décision est prise à travers un communiqué du premier responsable mondial de l’Église du Christianisme Céleste (ECC). Dans son message, le Révérend Pasteur Bennett A. Adéogoun invite les milliers de fidèles de l’ECC à travers le monde entier à mener les différentes activités consacrées au pèlerinage sur leurs paroisses. C’est dire donc qu’il n’y aura pas le grand rassemblement qu’on observe par le passé à la plage de Sèmè-kpodji. Cette décision de la célébration en sobriété de la fête de la Nativité fait suite aux dernières mesures restrictives imposées par les autorités gouvernementales pour limiter la propagation de la maladie à coronavirus.
