Avant de m’en dormir, il me plait de laisser ces quelques lignes à mon ami et aîné M. AKATOR, qui m’a fait l’honneur de m’appeler pour m’annoncer sa demission du MPDD [Parti politique au Togo] et de la DMK [Regroupement de formations politiques], quelques heures après l’avoir déposée.

Une vive émotion s’est emparée de moi, je fis silence un instant, avant de répondre tristement:《 il faut qu’on se voit…》
Nos chemins se sont croisés en 2019 à la CELI GOLFE 7, lui vice président de la CELI et moi membre. C’est avec lui que je me suis engueulé la première fois ( Il est trop taquin le gars ), avant de découvrir après, toute l’immensité de l’homme.
Il est d’une franchise à couper le souffre, caractéristique d’une âme honnête. (Je pense d’ailleurs que c’est ce qui l’aurait poussé à sortir du MPDD et de la DMK…). Sans plus de détails….
Mais C’est le côté travailleur de l’homme qui m’a le plus séduit et m’a appris beaucoup de choses
M. AKATOR travaille beaucoup, ceux qui le connaissent le savent. Il est d’une rigueur terrible. Ce n’est pas le genre de miltant qu’on accepte perdre facilement, hélas…
Je voyais avec quelle perspicacité il coordonnait les fédérations MPDD sur toute l’etendue du territoire lors de l’élection présidentielle de 2020. ( Puisque c’est lui qui serait le responsable des fédérations.)
Depuis lors je l’ai surnommé le bulldozer…
Je risque de parler beaucoup de lui. Ce n’est pas le moment…
Après Février 2020, nous avions gardé de bon contact, et il m’avait déjà effleuré ses points de désaccord sur l’orientation de son parti guidée par la DMK…
Il m’en a toujours parlé avec amertume et un regret profond, comme pour dire » Nous avions labouré la mer «
Où que tu seras cher aîné, ta contribution pour la construction d’un Togo nouveau et honnête sera toujours utile. Sois fier de toi.
Et comme tu fêtes ton anniversaire aujourd’hui, JOYEUX ANNIVERSAIRE À TOI. Ici ou ailleurs la lutte continue !
