Togo/La responsabilité juridique et les procédures judiciaires et réparations de dommages au centre d’un atelier à Lomé
Une bonne nouvelle pour les acteurs du secteur maritime du petit pays en matière de transport maritime mais également le vrai hub de la sous région.
Les Conseil national du patronat (CNP) et l’association « Ma belle promo » renforcent depuis ce mardi 26 octobre 2021 la capacité des acteurs intervenant dans le secteur maritime à Lomé.
Ouvert par le ministre en charge de l’économie maritime et de la pêche, Kokou Tengue, ce séminaire vise à tracer aux participants plusieurs chemins afin de pallier au manque de connaissance en matière juridique au Togo.
Pour la Présidente de l’association Ma Belle Promo, le constat est amer avec les litiges entre les commissionnaires en douanes agréés, les importateurs et exportateurs sur le terrain dans l’exercice de leur mission.
« Il y a des litiges qui interviennent souvent dans l’exercice de leur mission mais ils ne savent pas comment régler ces problèmes à travers le mécanisme juridique et pouvoir annoncé » a fait savoir Fabienne Senaya avant d’ajouter que » cette rencontre de deux jours va permettre à tous ces acteurs de mieux maitriser le mécanisme juridique et de travailler en collaboration les uns avec les autres pour le développement de notre pays ».
Aussi avec l’acquisition de nouvelles notions, ces acteurs du Port Autonome de Lomé seront bien outillés dans l’exercice de leur travail en cas de contentieux.
« La familiarisation avec les nouvelles notions telles que le cautionnement, le décautionnement, le surestarine, la détention des conteneurs, le stationnement des conteneurs dans les terminaux va permettre aux participants de se référer aux outils juridiques en cas de litige » a souligné l’Expert maritime et formateur, Michel Yao Kpogan.
Axé sous le thème : « Responsabilité juridique des consignataires et des manutentionnaires viv-à-vis des importateurs et exportateurs, et des commissionnaires en Douane agréés. Procédures judiciaires et réparations des dommages subis de leur fait », cette formation qui regroupe plus de 200 acteurs du secteur de la mer prend fin mercredi à Lomé.
