L’affaire pédopornographique a fait grand bruit ces derniers temps sur les réseaux sociaux. Certains individus malveillants ont tourné une vidéo malsaine mettant en scène des mineurs. Le gouvernement togolais a réagi sur cette affaire qui a défrayé la chronique depuis quelques semaines. À une note signé en date du 31 mars dernier, le gouvernement condamne avec la dernière rigueur, l’acte ignoble imposé aux mineurs par des personnes véreuses, vicieuses, dont les objectifs interpellent la conscience humaine.
Le gouvernement togolais qui a mis en alerte la police nationale après avoir eu connaissance de cette situation, continue de manifester son indignation à l’encontre des individus malveillants qui ont tourné cette vidéo malsaine. Après investigation, la police nationale a relevé que ces vidéos obscènes, qui compromettent dangereusement les droits de l’enfant, auraient été tournées en mars 2020 à Adangbé, dans la préfecture de Zio.
Après avoir remercié les populations, les organisations de la société civile, notamment la Ligue de défense noir africaine (LDNA), les médias et tous les autres acteurs anonymes pour leur collaboration, le gouvernement précise que la pédophilie et la pornographie mettant en scène les enfants sont prohibés et constituent des crimes selon le code de l’enfant et du nouveau code pénal. Par ailleurs, le gouvernement, après avoir félicité les forces de l’ordre et de sécurité pour la promptitude et la qualité de leur intervention, il invite la population à plus de vigilance pour éviter ces genres de situations délicates.
Notons qu’au total, huit (08) personnes, toutes de sexe masculin, sont impliquées dans cette situation déplorable. Il s’agit de cinq (05) adolescents présumés auteurs et trois (03) enfants âgés respectivement de six (06), sept (07) et treize (13) ans. Parmi les présumés auteurs de cet acte ignoble, 4 personnes ont été appréhendées mais malheureusement le cerveau du groupe est en fuite et activement recherché par les forces de l’ordre.
