Panique suite à une tentative de braquage près du marché d’Amoutiévé non loin du grand carrefour commercial de déckon.
Nonobstant le renforcement de la sécurité dans le grand Lomé par le ministère de la sécurité et de la protection civile, les braquages sont toujours récurrentes à Lomé et dans les autres villes de l’intérieur du pays.
Le dernier en date, une tentative de braquage à eu lieu lundi 24 octobre 2022 dans la matinée au alentours de 11h30 non loin du marché d’Amoutiévé.
Un bilan lourd : 2 morts et 12 blessés. Les personnes grièvement blessées dont un élève de 4 ans ont été évacué d’urgence au CHU Sylvanus olympio à Lomé en soins intensifs a appris notre rédaction de source sécuritaire.
En effet, un convoi composé d’un véhicule transportant des fonds, d’un véhicule et de motos d’escorte des éléments des services de sécurité progressant du marché en direction de l’aéroport international Gnassingbé Eyadéma est tombé dans une embuscade tendue par 6 braqueurs armées et à dos de 3 motos non immatriculées à hauteur du feu tricolore du marché d’Amoutiévé.
Les échanges de coup de feu qui s’en sont suivi entre les malfrats et les forces de défense et de sécurité ont malheureusement causé la mort de deux personnes, un élément de l’escorte et un mineur de 4 ans et la blessure par arme à feu de 12 personnes à savoir 6 éléments des forces de sécurité et 6 civiles.
Malgré cette tentative de braquage et des dégâts occasionnés, le convoi a réussi à poursuivre sa mission jusqu’à destination et une enquête est ouverte pour faire la lumière cet événement malheureux.
Il urge que les populations puissent redoubler de vigilance et de collaboration avec les forces de défense et de sécurité à l’approche de ces périodes de fin d’années pour mettre hors d’état de nuire ces individus mal intentionnés qui ne font que semer panique et désolation dans la cité.
