La dictature a pris le dessus de la démocratie dans la gouvernance en Afrique. À peine le président maréchal Idriss Déby est tué au front, son fils Mahamat Idriss Itno Déby assure l’intérim pour une transition de 18 mois ce qui veut dire que la constitution du Tchad est suspendue. En réalité, c’est le vice-président qui devrait diriger le pays en cas d’absence mais le désormais feu président du Tchad n’a pas nommé ce dernier. On pourra dire que c’est fait à dessein.
L’information vient de tomber comme une bombe dans les oreilles du peuple tchadien. Le porte-parole de l’armée, le général Azem Bermandoa Agouna, a informé à travers un communiqué que « le président de la république, chef de l’Etat, chef suprême des armées, Idriss Déby Itno, vient de connaître son dernier souffle en défendant l’intégrité territoriale sur le champ de bataille. C’est avec une profonde amertume que nous annonçons au peuple tchadien le décès ce mardi 20 avril 2021 du maréchal du Tchad ».
À peine décédé, le conseil militaire dirigé par Mahamat Idriss Déby prend la tête du pays. « Un conseil militaire a été en mis en place dirigé par son fils, le général Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno. Le conseil s’est aussitôt réuni et a promulgué la charte de transition » a déclaré le porte-parole de l’armée, le général Azem Bermandoa Agouna.
Notons qu’il est prévu que le poste de vice-président selon la révision de la constitution du 4 mai 2018. Ce vice-président représentera et exercera les pouvoirs et prérogatives en cas d’absence du président de la République. Mais malheureusement le président réélu avec un score de 79,32% des voix, n’a pas nommé un vice-président avant de rendre l’âme au front aujourd’hui. Est-ce qu’il l’a fait à dessein ou comment ? Dès 2010 il reçoit de la DGSSIE le Commandement de l’escadron Blindés et des Gardes du corps.
En 2012 ,il a été ensuite nommé à la tête du Groupement N1 de la DGSSIE (sur trois groupements) CHARGÉ de la SÉCURITÉ du PALAIS Présidentiel.
En 2013 il est nommé au Poste de Commandement en Second Des Forces Armées TCHADIENNE en Intervention au MALI (FATIM) dans le Nord du Mali sous les Ordres du Général OUMAR BIKOMO mais serait le chef officieux.
