Dans une de ses réalisations qu’il a postée sur son blog et sur chacune de ses pages, Mayor Olajide a dessiné au charbon de bois le footballeur international portugais, Christiano Ronaldo. Ce portrait lui a pris selon son chronomètre, 75 heures. Et les résultats de ces longues heures de travail restent juste époustouflants.
Mayor est fils d’AMOS et de SARAH OLAJIDE et est né en 2002.
Il est connu pour être l’un des meilleurs artistes hyperréalistes du Nigeria utilisant uniquement des crayons au fusain sur de grands papiers lisses pour réaliser des portraits étonnants de personnalités publiques et des œuvres d’art détaillées qui ressemblent étrangement à des photographies.
Sa spécialité sur l’hyperréalisme au crayon lui a valu une reconnaissance dans plusieurs pays du monde tels que la HOLLANDE, les États-Unis d’Amérique, le Royaume-Uni, le Nigeria, le Liban, l’Italie, Singapour etc.
Il a également gagné la reconnaissance de son état lorsqu’il a dessiné le portrait de l’Assemblée nationale nigériane, et même de l’honorable ministre des Sports, du développement et de la jeunesse su Nigeria.
Aujourd’hui, il continue ses études en architecture dans l’une des prestigieuses écoles supérieures du Nigeria. Mais à chaque fois qu’il trouve l’inspiration, il n’hésite pas de crayonner.
