La visite officielle du chef de la diplomatie togolaise Robert Dussey en Turquie s’est achevée ce jeudi 03 mai.
Dans l’ombre des multiples accords économiques et commerciaux signés, il est annoncé pour les jours à venir, un forum d’affaires entre entrepreneurs togolais et Turcs.
Ce forum d’affaires bilatéral qui aura lieu en automne prochain, a pour objectif d’encourager l’investissement turc au Togo. « Nous pensons que les investissements Turcs, qui sont de plus en plus nombreux sur le continent, et particulièrement en Afrique de l’Ouest, sont les bienvenues au Togo, surtout que nous avons un cadre des affaires assez ouvert » a expliqué, Robert Dussey, ministre togolais des affaires étrangères aux journalistes du média turc Analodu.
Les rapports économiques turco-togolais, sont de plus en plus en expansion. En 2019 par exemple, le Togo a réalisé plus 24 milliards de FCFA d’exportation vers le pays d’Erdogan. Ces exportations sont de l’ordre des matières premières agricoles, du café, et surtout du coton sachant que la Turquie est un grand pays promoteur de l’industrie textile.
