Le Togo doit apprendre cette belle leçon chez l´Australie. Nos autorités togolaises, au lieu de privilégier les intérêts économiques et politiques du Togo dans les contrats entre Etats, ont tendance à privilégier l´amitié au détriment des intérêts du Togo surtout quand il s´agit de la France, par peur ou je ne sais quoi. Elles méconnaissent ce principe qui gouverne le monde des Etats selon lequel: « Les Etats n´ont pas d´amis mais des intérêts ». Elles doivent réapprendre cette vieille maxime à travers cette rupture unilatérale du contrat par l´Australie au profit des Etats-Unis et du Royaume-Uni au détriment de la France qui a vu rompre le contrat de construction des sous-marins classiques car les Etats-Unis et le Royaume-Uni viennent de proposer à l´Australie la construction des sous-marins à propulsion nucléaire, ce qui est plus avantageux en terme de dissuasion et de défense pour l´Australie.
C´est ça diriger un pays. Seuls les intérêts comptent entre Etats et non l´amitié. C´est un camouflet, une grande humiliation pour la France en terme d´image et de capacité industrielle dans le monde. Elle ne pèse que chez les Africains qui lui donnent cette place, qu´en réalité elle n´en a pas dans le monde. Malheureusement les dirigeants africains francophones et les citoyens aussi desdits pays africains prennent la France comme leur Dieu tout puissant en Afrique.
Il y a une chose que la France maîtrise bien et sait faire : la diplomatie, c´est-à-dire la bouche. C´est tout. Son efficacité planétaire s´arrête là.
J´invite nos autorités togolaises à réapprendre cette belle leçon chez l´Australie. Aucun Etat ne fait jamais cadeau dans les négociations ni dans les contrats entre Etats ou avec les entreprises étrangères. Une question : l´Etat togolais à la place de l´Australie aurait-il pu avoir le courage de rompre un quelconque contrat déja signé avec la France ou avec entreprises françaises en privilégiant les intérêts du Togo lorsqu´il a trouvé mieux ailleurs? Inutile même de l´imaginer.
C´est ce que l´Australie, elle, a pu faire. C´est ça diriger un pays. Toujours faire des choix en fonction des intérêts de l´Etat qu´on dirige. Ce n´est pas l´amitié qui guide les Etats mais les intérêts. Lorsqu´on n´est pas en mesure de pouvoir privilégier les intérêts du pays qu´on dirige, ce n´est même pas la peine de prêter serment et prétendre être à la tête de ce pays pour le diriger.
Les Etats-Unis et le Royaume-Uni fourniront des sous-marins à l´Australie alors que cette dernière a déja signé ce contrat avec la France sous la présidence de François Hollande à l´Elysée. Peu importe. Ayant trouvé mieux avec des propositions plus avantageuses faites par les Etas-Unis et le Royaume-Uni, elle n´a pas hésité à rompre ce contrat très juteux pour la France aux environs de 30 milliards d´euros pour la construction des sous-marins classiques à l´Australie alors que les Etas-Unis et le Royaume-Uni lui proposent des sous-marins à propulsion nucléaire à la place des sous-marins classiques prévus dans le contrat initialement signé avec la France.
La France crie en disant que ça ne doit pas se faire entre Etats amis mais les Etats-Unis, le Royaume-Uni et l´Australie s´en foutent de leur amitié qui lie la France. Ce qui compte pour eux, c´est l´intérêt de leur pays respectif. Dans les négociations entre Etats, il faut toujours privilégier les intérêts de son pays qu´on dirige et non pas chercher seulement à être en bon terme avec les Etats. Avoir les bonnes relations amicales avec les Etats voisins et avec les grandes puissances occidentales, c´est bon mais être guidé par les intérêts de son pays c´est toujours mieux. On ne sacrifie pas les inérêtes de son pays qu´on dirige au profit d´un autre Etat étranger ou des entreprises étrangères comme le port autonome de Lomé au profit de Vincent Bolloré. C´est un acte de haute trahison.
Une raison supplémentaire qui prouve que la reprise du Togo britannique rattaché au Ghana par un référendum bidon en mai 1956 doit être remise sur la table des négociations le moment venu et opportun. C´est l´intérêt du Togo qui compte et non l´amitié avec le Ghana. C´est pourquoi Faure Gnassingbé doit partir à la fin de son mandat en cours. Nous, on a du travail à faire pour notre cher pays qu´on aime pour son rayonnement. La réunification du Togo est plus que jamais notre préoccupation. Je dirais même ma préoccupation car c´est le plus cher (à moi) de mes projets politiques.
