Kinshasa : un véhicule de la police incendiée à la suite des tensions entre deux camps musulmans
Ce jeudi c’est la fête musulmane de l’Aïd El Fitr marquant la fin du jeûne du mois de ramadan. A Kinshasa elle a été marquée par de vives tensions entre deux camps islamiques opposés qui ont occasionné des troubles au stade des Martyrs où un rassemblement était prévu pour célébrer la fête. Une jeep de la police a été caillassée et incendiée par des troubleurs selon un média local.
La police a fait usage de gaz lacrymogène afin de disperser les musulmans qui étaient déjà nombreux au stade des Martyrs.
En effet, à Kinshasa deux camps se disputent la tête de la Communauté islamique du Congo (COMICO). Cheik Abdallah Mangala à la tête de la communauté est combattu par un camp dirigé par l’imam Cheikh Youssouf Djibondo. La veille, les deux camps ont été « réconciliés » par le gouverneur de Kinshasa Gentiny Ngobila pour que les musulmans de Kinshasa puissent célébrer ensemble Aïd El Fitr.
