Des rumeurs incessantes font état d’un recul de l’armée russe face à la contre-offensive de l’Ukraine. Le chef d’état major de la Bundeswehr, Erberhard Zorn( Allemagne) ne partage pas ces rumeurs. Il explique qu’il n’en est rien.
Eberhard Zorn a mis en garde contre le fait de considérer les récents « succès » de l’armée ukrainienne comme une contre-offensive à grande échelle. C’est ce qu’il a déclaré ce mercredi au magazine Focus.
« Je suis prudent avec les termes« , a-t-il noté. Au mieux, selon lui, il s’agit de « contre-attaques, qui peuvent être utilisées pour prendre le contrôle de localités ou de parties du front, mais pas pour repousser la Russie sur un large front« . « Même l’hiver qui s’approche ne réduira pas les souffrances, bien au contraire« , affirme le chef d’état-major.
En même temps, il a exprimé des doutes quant aux capacités de l’armée ukrainienne à mener une contre-offensive. « Elle a besoin d’une supériorité d’au moins trois contre un« , a conclu Eberhard Zorn.
