Dans une vidéo partagée sur son compte Twitter le jeudi 3 juin, l’homme de Dieu devait célébrer son 58ème anniversaire le samedi 12 juin prochain. Dans cette vidéo devenue vitale sur les réseaux sociaux, ce qui semble être une prédiction de sa mort, TB Joshua a déclaré qu’il ne serait pas en mesure de célébrer son anniversaire en raison des conditions qui prévalent, qu’il n’a pas mentionnées. « Pour tout le monde, le 12 juin n’est plus loin. Comme vous le savez, je suis un homme du peuple, donc la blessure de l’un est la blessure de tous. Dans l’état actuel des choses, vous avez peut-être compris qu’il ne serait pas facile pour moi de célébrer mon anniversaire », a déclaré Joshua.
La cause de sa mort n’a pas encore été révélée.
Pour l’heure aucune information officielle n’a été communiquée sur les raisons de son décès. L’homme de Dieu réunissait des dizaines de milliers de personnes lors de ces offices religieux. Il avait créé la synagogue «Église de toutes les nations» et était reconnu pour ses nombreuses prédictions. On lui attribue par exemple la prédiction de nombreux attentats, y compris ceux de France. Ses sermons étaient également diffusés sur la chaîne religieuse Emmanuel TV.
