En tout cas, c’est l’information donnée par le site Le nouveau reporter en précisant que « Togocel ne reconnaît pas l’amende d’un milliard infligée à elle par l’Arcep, les deux institutions seront devant la cour suprême lundi ».
Il nous souvient que pour des pratiques tarifaires ne respectant pas un certain nombre de règles, Togo Cellulaire a écopé d’une amende d’un milliard de FCFA de l’Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes (Arcep). Cette amende a entraîné une guéguerre entre Togocel et l’instance supérieure. Pour se faire entendre et ne voulant pas respecter cette sanction, Togocel « a interjeté appel devant la chambre administrative de la cour suprême » a précisé notre source. La cour suprême va trancher lundi 26 avril 2021.
Par ailleurs, l’ARCEP a notifié à travers un communiqué datant du 25 février 2021 qu’elle prend acte de la cessation des pratiques de différenciation tarifaire intra et inter-réseaux sur les offres de base de même que les forfaits. Pour l’institution, en mettant de l’ordre dans la tarification, Togocel devient comme Moov Africa qui a obtempéré une fois interpellé.
