Enseignant de philosophie et ancien président de la jeunesse du MPDD, Paul Missiagbeto est arrêté pour avoir relayer sur les réseaux sociaux des informations jugées fausses. Le conseiller spécial de Agbéyomé Kodjo est libre de ses mouvements après 9 mois de détention arbitraire.
Pour le docteur Agbéyomé Kodjo, le candidat unique de l’opposition, cette libération prouve que les togolais peuvent encore croire en certains juges.

Notons qu’après l’arrestation de Paul Missiagbeto et sa détention au SCRIC, il a comparu devant le tribunal de première instance de Lomé le 13 août 2021 où le procureur général a requis 48 mois de prison ferme contre lui.
