Le mois d’août 2022 semble bien mouvementé à la Bank Of Africa (BOA). Ce jeudi 11 août 2022, deuxième SIT IN du personnel de la BOA, après celui du 04 août dernier dans presque toutes les filiales de la zone UEMOA. « Ces nouvelles conditions font disparaître nos acquis sociaux déjà pas trop adéquats à la réalité » selon Thierry Moreira, un des délégués du syndicat du personnel, qui a bien voulu nous expliquer le bien fondé de ce mouvement d’humeur,
« Nous notons dans cette note à nous adresser, la réduction de la durée de prêt, le taux désormais applicable sur certaines facilités bancaires comme le découvert jusqu’ici exempté… nous ne pouvons plus dire, celui qui travaille à l hôtel, vit de l hôtel » continue Thierry Moreira dans ses explications à notre rédaction.
Le collège des délégués du personnel demande tout simplement, d’une part, l’annulation pur et simple de cette décision qu’il qualifie de punitive et d’autre part, dénonce l’attitude de la Direction Générale de la Banque qui semble ne pas vouloir communiquer et menace de rentrer en grève de 72heures, si la Direction continue de rester dans son mutisme et refuse d’accéder aux revendications des travailleurs. Et sur la banderole confectionnée pour la cause, nous pouvons lire : « NON au détournement des acquis du personnel…NON à la confiscation des avantages souverains du personnel de la BOA »
On peut toujours noter par ailleurs que suite au premier SIT IN, les filiales du BURKINA FASO, du NIGER et de la COTE D’IVOIRE ont sursoit ou annulé ces nouvelles conditions pour répondre favorablement à la demande des employés. Il va sans dire que la Direction Générale de la BOA TOGO fait du ‘’WAIT AND SEE’’, ce qui n’agrée point les employés
