Le ministre de l’administration territoriale, de la décentralisation et du développement des territoires, Payadowa BOUKPESSI a adressé une note à l’attention des préfets des savanes, Kara et de la région centrale pour demander la liste des associations ou ONGs qui malgré l’état d’urgence sécuritaire dans ces zones s’adonnent aux différentes activités aux côtés de ses populations.
« Il nous est revenu que plusieurs associations et ONGs entament ces derniers temps une cascade d’activités diverses dans vos localités respectives » peut-on lire dans la note N°0078/MATDDT/CAB.
Le ministre BOUKPESSI, en raison de l’état d’urgence sécuritaire exige que lui soit dressé un rapport sur ces associations et ONGs avec la date bien précise du début des activités, la nature de ces activités de même que les personnes cibles visées par lesdites activités, les noms, prénoms.et contacts des personnes chargées par ces structures pour l’exécution de ces missions.
Sans passer par le dos de la cuillère, le ministre du développement des territoires donne un ultimatum aux préfets des trois régions ci-mentionnées.
« Vos réponses doivent parvenir au ministère de l’administration territoriale, de la décentralisation et du développement des territoires au plus tard le mardi 7 mars 2023 », poursuit le communiqué.
Notons par ailleurs que des centaines de personnes fuient le nord Togo pour trouver refuge au Bénin à cause des attaques terroristes. Ils seraient au moins 750 personnes venues des villages de la région des Savanes, note la commission béninoise chargée des réfugiés et apatrides.
Pour le moment, ces Togolais sont hébergés dans des familles d’accueil. Des démarches administratives sont actuellement en cours pour leur reconnaître le statut de réfugiés.
