Chris Dakey , le secrétaire général de la Fédération Togolaise de Football, a été inhumé samedi 26 mars 2022 à Kpélé Elé dans son village natal (Région des Plateaux), à l’issue des obsèques qui ont duré trois (3) jours.
Plus tôt le jeudi 24 mars, une cérémonie d’hommages en la mémoire du défunt a été organisée à l’auditorium de l’Université de Lomé.
Nombreux sont ces officiels du monde politique, des acteurs du football togolais, amis, anonymes comme curieux qui ont fait massivement le déplacement de kpélé Élé pour accompagner Chris DACKEY vers sa dernière demeure. Le défunt a été inhumé dans la stricte intimité familiale
Pour rappel, feu Chris Dakey, ce économiste de 52 ans, est décédé juste un an après sa nomination en février 2021 au poste de Secrétaire Général de la Fédération Togolaise de Football (FTF), et en remplacement de Pierre Lamadokou.
