Surnommé « 500via » par les jeunes boxeurs de son temps, le vice-président Kouassi malgré son âge était l’un des acteurs de la Boxe qui ont œuvré pour soutenir la liste de l’ancien Directeur technique de la Boxe, Messan Langan contre celle de Amouzou à la dernière élection de la fédération togolaise de Boxe afin de remettre la boxe sur ses rails mais en vain.
Prévue pour le 14 janvier 2022 à Nyékonakpoè à Lomé, la veillée aura lieu dans la maison du Bar Oncle Ben en face de l’ancienne direction de la Lonato avant l’enterrement le lendemain dans son village natal à Aného.
En deuil, les acteurs de la boxe togolaise plurent le propriétaire « Oncle Ben » qui avait fait la pluie et le beau temps dans la capitale togolaise.
