Ce fait divers consterne tout le Nigeria, poussant les responsables des églises célèstes de Christ de Lagos de décréter, samedi 8 mai 2021, que désormais tout parfum spirituel devant être aspergé sur une personne doit être dilué avec de l’eau.
Durant cet office d’où il ne ressortira pas vivant, le milliardaire, genou à terre et tenant une bougie, était entouré de 7 personnes tenant aussi des bougies pendant que le pasteur lui aspergeait du parfum très inflammable au contact de l’huile et du feu.
Engagé sur le social, Kayode Badru était rentré expressément pour participer à la remise de diplôme à 40 étudiants qu’il avait sponsorisé à l’Academy for innovative art and technology (ACIATECH).
