Le président Muhammadu Buhari a reçu mercredi le premier téléphone portable fabriqué au Nigeria, connu sous le nom de ITF Mobile
Ce mercredi 9 juin 2021, le président Muhammadu Buhari a reçu le premier téléphone portable fabriqué au Nigeria, des mains du ministre de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Investissement, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo.
Selon la News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), le ministre de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Investissement du Nigéria, Adeniyi Adebayo, a présenté le téléphone au président, avant le début de la réunion du Conseil exécutif fédéral de mercredi à Abuja « le téléphone est l’un des 12 téléphones portables produits, à l’aide de composants d’origine locale, par le département de technologie électrique/électronique du Model Skills Training Centre de l’Industrial Training Fund (ITF) » a expliqué Mr Adebayo. Il a déclaré : « Douze téléphones portables indigènes produits par le Model Skills Training Centre de l’Industrial Training Fund, une agence du ministère de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Investissement, ont été lancés ». « J’ai le grand plaisir, Monsieur le Président, de vous présenter l’un de ces téléphones ».
Le ministre a également identifié que l’appareil est un ITF qui possède de nombreuses fonctionnalités sophistiquées.
