« Moi-même, je n’en crois pas mes yeux et mes oreilles » s’exclame en riant le président de la république du Bénin, Patrice TALON alors qu’il déroulait son discours sur l’Etat de la nation ce jour Jeudi 08 Décembre 2022 à l’assemblée nationale.
Aveu qui n’est en rien lié au long et inhabituel temps qu’a duré cet exercice annuel (10h 04 à 10h 50 min très exactement), mais plutôt aux mesures générales décidées et prises quant à l’augmentation des salaires dans le pays.
Si dès sa prise de parole le chef de l’Etat a longuement développé les efforts, les actions et les projections pour les secteurs de la sécurité, de l’éducation et de la santé, il a également passer en revue l’énergie, l’artisanat, le sport, le cadre de vie et les infrastructures de transports, le tourisme et autres domaines pour faire remarquer qu’ils sont tous en nette progression grâce aux ambitions et aux réalisations de son gouvernement.
Mais encore, il reconnait que tout n’est pas parfait et qu’il reste du chemin à faire. C’est d’ailleurs la principale réalité pour laquelle le commandant en chef béninois comprends et conçoit la nature humaine face à l’insatisfaction des citoyens qui ne ressentent pas directement les effets de l’action gouvernementale.
Il rassure cependant de ce que des mesures visant à améliorer progressivement le quotidien des béninois sont en train d’être prises et actées.
La preuve de cette volonté réside dans le cœur même du discours du président qui annonce et expose à travers l’injection de plus de 60 milliards de francs CFA chaque année dans la revalorisation des salaires, le relèvement du pouvoir d’achat, l’amélioration du niveau de vie et l’impact sur la vie de tous les béninois.
Arriver à ces fins est en partie également l’œuvre des partis politiques représentés à l’assemblée, Union Progressiste Le Renouveau et le Bloc Républicain a reconnu et mentionné publiquement Patrice TALON qui n’a pas manqué de les féliciter vivement, tant eux que la 08 ème législature pour les bons et loyaux services rendus à la nation jusqu’ici.
