Le gouvernement togolais a lancé depuis ce jeudi 30 juin 2022, sa plateforme de visas électroniques.
La plateforme avait initialement été lancée il y a près de 2 ans, le 03 août 2020. La nouvelle version intègre l’ensemble des formalités d’immigration qu’un voyageur entrant ou sortant du territoire doit effectuer y compris sa demande de visa et les informations sanitaires en lien avec le Covid-19.
« Désormais, tout individu désireux d’entrer ou de sortir du territoire togolais doit préalablement se rendre sur https://voyage.gouv.tg », indiquent dans une note conjointe, les ministres Yark Damehame et Cina Lawson, respectivement chargés de la sécurité et de la transformation digitale.
La plateforme propose un ‘assistant visa’ qui permet aux voyageurs entrants de savoir s’ils ont besoin ou pas de visa pour se rendre ou Togo.
Ces mises à jour interviennent quelques mois après l’annonce par le gouvernement (en février 2022), de sa volonté de digitaliser les processus de demande et d’établissement de visa et carte de séjour pour les étrangers.
Il faut noté par ailleurs que de nombreux pays de la sous région passent progressivement au e-visa, plus simple pour les visiteurs et plus souple pour les administrations et les services d’immigration.
