Mise en demeure de la Radio Victoire FM par la HAAC pour violation des règles déontologiques et manquements graves dans une émission.
Par un communiqué en date du 02 juin 2023, la Haute autorité de l’audiovisuel et de la communication (HAAC), a décidé de mettre en demeure la radio Victoire FM pour « graves manquements survenus » au cours d’une émission en éwé animée le mardi 23 Mai 2023 par M. Jacob AHAMA dont l’invité M. Guillaume KOKO « a fait [entre autres NDLR] des déclarations calomnieuses consistant en de fausses informations sur la situation politique, économique et sociale sur le Togo ».
Selon le document portant décision de mise en demeure de cette radio privée par la HAAC, l’animateur de l’émission « Dukoamé bé nyadjodjowo » diffusée en direct en éwé (langue nationale) les matinées, a manqué de maîtrise sur la conduite de son entretien avec M. Guillaume KOKO, un acteur de la vie sociopolitique togolaise, actuellement Président de l’Association pour le Bien-être Juvénile (ABEJ).
Outre des « déclarations calomnieuses », Ce dernier a, toujours suivant le contenu de la décision de la HAAC, « en guise de solutions aux problèmes du Togo, appelé les populations à une insurrection et à un soulèvement dans l’optique de mettre fin au gouvernement en place », puis « appelé les populations à se soulever contre les autorités d’un pays étranger en vue de mettre fin aux relations qu’entretient le Togo avec celui-ci ».
Invités à s’expliquer devant la HAAC pour ces faits, le Directeur de la radio et l’animateur de l’émission ont « reconnu les graves manquements » et « présenté [des] excuses ». Ils se sont s’engagés « à faire preuve de plus de rigueur et de professionnalisme dans la gestion des émissions en direct et interactive… » et « à faire un rectificatif et présenter des excuses à l’opinion ».
Au regard de tout ceci, la HAAC a décidé d’une « mise en demeure » de la « Radio Victoire FM » ce vendredi 02 Juin 2023.
