Les portes de la 17è Foire internationale de Lomé (FIL) se sont refermées ce dimanche 18 septembre 2022 sur le site traditionnel du Centre Togolais des Expositions et Foire de Lomé (CETEF).
Cette édition qui, après deux années de suspension liées à la pandémie mondiale de Covid-19, rentre dans l’histoire sur un satisfecit total à en croire le staff du CETEF, les exposants et aussi les visiteurs qui se sont comptés par milliers. Quant au premier responsable du CETEF Nomadoli Comlan Yakpey, ce dernier a estimé dimanche à la cérémonie de clôture que la « mission a été remplie ».

Notons que sur une sur une superficie estimée à 18383 m2, on peut compter 1148 exposants venus de 22 pays notamment le Bénin, le Burkina Faso, le Mali, le Niger, le Nigéria, le Sénégal, le Maroc, la France, l’Italie, la Belgique, le Ghana, le Pakistan, l’Afrique du Sud, l’Iran, l’Inde, la Turquie, l’Espagne, la Syrie, l’Allemagne, les USA, la Guinée Conakry qui ont fait le déplacement et ont participé à cette grande fête foraine aux côtés des exposants togolais.
Démarrée le 30 novembre dernier sous le thème « Compétitivité des biens et services pour la relance de l’économie en période post-Covid-19 » et pendant 19 jours, les exposants de plusieurs secteurs d’activité ont répondu à ce rendez-vous, notamment des secteurs de l’agroalimentaire, des BTP, et des services en tous genres. En dehors des expositions-ventes de produits et services, près de 60 entreprises ont pris part aux séances B2B (Business to Business) destinées aux hommes d’affaires avec cette année, un accent sur le E-commerce, pour 330 rencontres qui se sont soldées sur des débuts de partenariat.

Au total, trois panels en lien avec ce thème ont été animés. Des entreprises et sociétés sponsors ont observé des journées à elles dédiées au cours desquelles elles ont présenté leurs produits et innovations.
Par ailleurs, plus de 3 500 emplois occasionnels ont été créés par l’administration du CETEF et un nombre record de 325 000 visiteurs ont été enregistrés durant cette 17ème édition.
Un bilan positif
Sur le plan sécuritaire, la prise en charge rapide en cas d’urgence et la gestion de l’affluence des derniers jours, le CETEF a rempli sa mission et a prouvé que l’amateurisme n’est pas un langage de gestion de son administration.
Très heureux et satisfait du bilan de cette édition qui pour lui, était un coup d’essais réussi, le directeur par intérim, Comla Yakpey a laissé entendre que « La foire a eu du succès en termes d’engouement et de participation. Toutes les prévisions ont été réalisées. C’est l’occasion de saluer la clairvoyance du chef de l’Etat qui a autorisé l’organisation de cette foire. Ce n’était pas évident parce que dans la sous-région, plusieurs pays ont reporté leurs foires et expositions. Nous remercions tous les acteurs qui ont contribué à la réussite de cette foire notamment les sponsors et partenaires, les exposants et les visiteurs ».
