Burkina Faso : attaque de Bourzanga (Centre-Nord), 35 terroristes tués,13 morts et des blessés du côté de l’armée
L’attaque terroriste qui a eu lieu à Bourzanga dans la province du Bam, région du Centre-Nord contre des Forces de défense et des VDP, le 4 août 2022, a fait 35 morts côté assaillants, 13 morts et des blessés du côté de l’armée, selon un communiqué officiel rendu public vendredi 5 août 2022.
Une unité du détachement militaire de Bourzanga qui coordonnait une action offensive avec un groupe de VDP, a « vaillamment riposté à une embuscade tendue par un groupe armé terroriste à hauteur de la localité de Boulounga», renseigne une note de l’armée.
Selon l’armée, la puissance de feu a fait que les terroristes ont battu en retraite, après qu’au moins trente-quatre (34) d’entre eux aient été tués.
La note ajoute que de l’armement, des moyens roulants et du matériel servant à la conception d’engins explosifs improvisés ont été récupérés au cours des opérations de ratissage.
