Bénin/Religion: Patrice Talon talonne le Vodoun à travers un musée spécial
Par un décret en date du 20 novembre 2021, le chef de l’état béninois a nommé un comité spécial du musée du Vodoun qui sera dirigé par le Ministre du tourisme, de la culture et des arts.
Le pays de Behanzin n’est pas à présenter en matière de Vodoun. Le sucesseur de l’ancien président Yayi Boni, Patrice Talon n’a pas manqué de poser ses pas sur la trace de ses aïeux. Il nomme ainsi auprès de l’Agence nationale de Promotion des Patrimoines et de Développement du Tourisme, un comité spécial du musée Vodoun.
Ce comité qui a pour mission d’accompagner l’Agence nationale de Promotion des Patrimoines et de Développement du Tourisme dans la mise en œuvre du projet du musée Vodoun va s’occuper des aspects scientifiques liés au projet.
Le comité spécial du musée Vodoun doit également s’assurer de la conformité de la proposition architecturale à la demande et à l’esprit du projet.
Composé de huit personnalités dont le Ministre en charge du Tourisme, des arts et de la culture, Jean-Michel Abimbola, l’homme de confiance du président est le Coordonnateur dudit comité.
En rappel, les Béninois expriment leur attachement à la tradition Vodoun à travers la célébration de la fête dédiée au Vodoun chaque année.
