Togo/Evala 2022 : La coordination de la riposte à la Covid-19 recommande une vaccination aux lutteurs et visiteurs
Le coordonnateur national de gestion de la riposte à la Covid-19, Pr Djibril Mohaman a lors de la conférence de presse hebdomadaire ce 6 juillet 2022 recommandé aux lutteurs et aux visiteurs de la fête traditionnelle « Evala », édition 2022, une vaccination.
Il a précisé que « des vaccinodromes et dispositifs de lavage de mains seront disponibles sur les sites de lutte et le pass vaccinal sera vérifié par le Groupe mixte de surveillance anti Covid-19 ».
Ces nouvelles dispositions applicables à toutes les fêtes traditionnelles interviennent après l’augmentation des chiffres de la Covid-19 durant ces dernières semaines. Il s’agit de faire de manière à ce que les réjouissances se déroulent dans de meilleures conditions.
Le coordonnateur national a précisé que la vaccination est toujours en baisse avec 40.000 personnes vaccinées en un mois alors qu’on tend vers un 2ème rappel qu’est la 4ème dose. Il a invité les personnes âgées de plus 50 ans et celles fragiles ayant reçu leur 3ème dose c’est-à-dire le 1er rappel depuis 6 mois à aller prendre leur 4ème dose (2ème rappel) pour se protéger de la Covid-19.
Le Professeur Djibril a fait mention d’un total de 132 cas positifs enregistrés cette semaine. Il a précisé que la pente d’augmentation actuelle est forte avec actuellement 4 malades de la Covid-19 au CHR-Lomé commune. A l’entendre, la plupart des préfectures sont touchées avec une concentrationé des cas positifs à Lomé.
Le coordonnateur invite la population à la vigilance avec cette hausse des cas. Il a fait savoir qu’on risque de revenir aux mesures restrictives si la situation ne s’améliore pas. Il a également attiré l’attention du public sur le respect des gestes barrières et appel à un isolement systématique lorsque l’on a les symptômes de la Covid-19
