À l’occasion de la cérémonie de récompense de la musique Burkinabè qui s’est déroulé ce vendredi 12 mai 2023 à Ouagadougou, l’artiste rappeur Smarty, de son vrai nom Salif Kiekieta est sacré Kundé d’or 2023. Il décide par cette occasion de faire don de l’enveloppe 1 500 000 francs CFA qu’il perçoit aux personnes déplacés internes (PDI). Les nominés étaient Alif Naaba, Tanya, Greg, Floby et Smarty
Il succède au parolier Don sharp de Batoro qui s’est adjugé ce trophée en 2021.
« Je sais qu’une enveloppe accompagne le Kundé d’or. Je vous informe que je ne toucherais pas un rond. Je l’offre aux Personnes déplacées internes (PDI) », a décidé le Kundé d’or 2023.
