Ce vendredi, 10 Juin 2022 a eu lieu au campus sud de l’Université de Kara, le lancement du volet 2 du projet <semaine écologique>, une initiative des étudiants en Master de la dite université.
Le volet 2 de ce projet vise non seulement à pérenniser les acquis du premier volet mais aussi à contribuer à la préservation du patrimoine naturel de l’Université de Kara.
Présidé par le Directeur Régional de la Planification, Mr HASSIM Maliawaï, représentant le préfet de la Kozah, le lancement de ce deuxième volet a été principalement marqué par la mise en terre de 300 plants sur le site du campus.
Un éveil de conscience a suivi cette opération à travers une formation sur la protection des espaces verts et le jardinage.
Le Délégué Général des étudiants en Master, de l’Université de Kara, SOUNDI Yéndoumban Bob, responsable du projet n’a pas manqué de remercier ses partenaires.
Le représentant du préfet a pour sa part invité les uns et les autres à s’approprier et à s’engager dans ce projet qui s’inscrit dans la droite ligne de la feuille de route gouvernementale, celle de planter un milliard d’arbres d’ici 2030.
Le volet 2 du projet <semaine écologique> est une facilitation de l’Union Européenne à travers le Programme d’Appui à la Lutte contre le Changement Climatique (PALCC) et couvre le mois de Juin.
