Togo/Sécurité : Pourquoi les forces de défense et de sécurité ont bouclé les localités de Gbodjomé, Payimé…?
La réquisition sous l’ordre du monsieur le procureur de la République près le tribunal de première instance de deuxième classe d’Aného, en date du 09 mars 2021, a permis aux forces de défense et de sécurité, de saisir 14 motos sans pièces afférentes et d’interpeller 22 personnes, ce jeudi 11 mars 2021, dans les localités de Gbodjomé, Payimé et leurs environs (Préfecture des Lacs). À travers un communiqué signé en date du jeudi, le ministre de la sécurité et de la protection civile, Yark Damehame donne les précisions sur cette opération qui a eu lieu dans ces localités.
Selon le ministre en charge de la sécurité, Yark Damehame, les forces de défense et de sécurité ont reçu un ordre le 09 mars dernier du procureur de la République près le tribunal de première instance de deuxième classe d’Aneho pour des opérations de contrôle de zone dans les localités précitées en haut. Ces opérations de prévention et de lutte contre la criminalité s’inscrivent dans le cadre de la prévention de la sécurité intérieure de notre pays face à la montée inquiétante des menaces sécuritaires de tout genre dans notre sous-région.
« Les opérations ont permis, entre autres, d’interpeller 22 personnes et de saisir 14 motos sans pièces afférentes, divers objets dont les pains de cannabis et des produits pharmaceutiques contrefaits. Les personnes interpellées et les objets saisis sont confiés à la gendarmerie nationale pour identification et enquêtes approfondies » a fait savoir le ministre de la sécurité et de la protection civile.
Le général Yark Damehame remercie les populations des localités concernées pour leur compréhension et leur collaboration. Il invite par ailleurs, l’ensemble de la population togolaise à rester vigilante et à participer, en cas de besoin, aux côtés des forces de défense et de sécurité, à ces actions de prévention et de lutte contre la criminalité afin de préserver et consolider la paix et la sécurité dans notre pays.
