Togo/ Nouveau code du travail : droit de grève et liberté syndicale sous contrôle ?
L’hémicycle de Lomé a procédé ce mardi 15 juin 2021 à une modification du nouveau code du travail.
Ces modifications bien que présentant des avantages disparates, ont apporté un coup au droit de grève et à la liberté syndicale.
Le cadre d’exercice du droit de grève est verrouillé, les mouvements d’humeur des syndicats sont quasiment confinés.
En effet, pour lancer une grève, il faudrait désormais donner un préavis de 5 à 10 jours, à la seule condition que toutes les voies de discussion soient épuisées, et dûment constatées.
Pour le ministre du travail et de la fonction publique, Gilbert Bawara, c’est une victoire sur les syndicats. « C’est l’aboutissement d’un processus de réforme en profondeur du code de travail qui a privilégié la concertation et l’écoute, particulièrement vis-à-vis des partenaires sociaux notamment nos frères et sœurs membres des organisations syndicales » a-t-il expliqué.
Pour l’heure, les syndicalistes sont muets comme une carpe de province.
