Un tragique accident s’est produit au matin du mardi 28 juin 2022 sur le pont de Bako dans la commune HAHO 3 (Kpedomé) à 7km avant Wahala. Le préfet de HAHO le Maire de Gléi et les élus des autres communes étaient sur les lieux et donnent des précisions
Selon les informations qui nous ont été révélé, le pneu avant du véhicule s’est éclaté et malgré les efforts du chauffeur le véhicule a fini par tomber dans le pont de Bako. Il s’agissait d’un véhicule de 15 à 18 qui aurait à bord, 29 passagers dont 4 hommes et deux (2) filles dont une fille de 12 ans et 23 femmes ‘’commerçantes’’ qui se rendaient au marché de Gléi.
On dénombre pour l’heure plusieurs blessés dont dix (10) mort sur le coup, 3 décès après évacuation au CHP de Notsè, cinq (5) évacués en urgence sur Lome.
Suite au drame, le représentant du pouvoir central de la préfecture de HAHO, Monsieur AWO Tchangani accompagné des élus locaux dont Kossivi THADDÉE Maire de la commune OGOU 3 (Glei), Kossi ADAISSO Maire de la commune HAHO 3 (Kpedomé), les deux premiers adjoints au Maire de la commune HAHO 1 TETE Agbenexovi et
KOUMADI Komi Kadédji Kouléhomé et le Directeur Préfectoral de la santé de HAHO, Abraham ATEKPE.
« C’est une grande tristesse pour nous d’avoir appris cette information. Nous nous sommes rendus sur les lieux aussitôt et ensuite nous sommes venus voir l’etat des blessés. C’est déplorable. Nous comptons sur la capacité des agents de l’hôpital pour qu’ils puissent se retrouver dans un bon état » a fait entendre Mr TETE Agbenoxevi, premier adjoint au Maire de la commune HAHO 1.
Pour sa part, le Directeur préfectoral de la santé de HAHO a indiqué qu’une équipe est aux chevet des victimes pour les soins nécessaires tout en espérant qu’ils retrouvent vite leur pleine santé.
Le ministre de la sécurité et de la protection civile, Yark Damehame, s’est prononcé sur les causes du drame dans un communiqué rendu public en fin de journée du mardi.
Dans un communiqué le patron de la sécurité informe que l’accident a eu lieu dans la matinée du mardi 28 juin 2022, aux environs de 7h et est causé par l’éclatement du pneu avant droit du bus, dû à la vitesse et au mauvais état des pneus et que le bus de transport de passagers ayant quitté Vogan pour se rendre au marché de Gléï, a dérapé suite à l’éclatement du pneu avant droit pour se retrouver sous le pont de la rivière Adewui.
« Il a, dans sa chute, buté contre un teck avant de se renverser sur son flanc droit provoquant d’importants dégâts matériels et humains. On dénombre au total 13 morts et 15 blessés. Les blessés ont été évacués au centre hospitalier préfectoral de Notsé et les corps déposés à la morgue dudit centre », renseigne le ministre.
