La campagne de promotion de la 17 ème édition de la Foire Internationale de Lomé a été officiellement lancée vendredi 29 juillet 2022 par le ministre du commerce, de l’Industrie et de la consommation locale, Kodzo Adedze.
Après deux années de pause due à la pandémie de la Covid-19, cet grand événement commercial, qui revient d’une part, pour relancer l’économie nationale, et d’autre part pour redonner de l’espoir aux entreprises nationales et aussi de la sous-région que du reste du monde , va connaître au cours de cette édition, une innovation majeure.
Placée sous le thème : « Compétitivités des bien et services pour la relance économique post-covid-19 », la 17 ème édition de la Foire Internationale de Lomé se déroulera du 30 novembre au 18 décembre prochain.
Pour éviter des contacts qui pourront occasionner une recrudescence des cas de covid-19, le directeur par intérim du Centre togolais des Expositions et Foires de lomé (CETEF), M. Comlan Nomadoli Yakpey, a révélé que l’innovation majeure de cette année est la digitalisation des services. L’acquisition des stands et même les tickets d’entrée se feront en ligne.
« Vous n’aurez plus besoin forcément de venir au CETEF avant de s’inscrire ou d’acheter son stand. Il s’agira de limiter les contacts entre les personnes toujours dans le cadre de la lutte contre la Covid-19 », a indiqué M. Comlan Nomadoli Yakpey.
L’économie togolaise, a-t-il ajouté, à l’instar des autres de la sous-région et du monde, a traversé une rude épreuve due à la crise pandémique liée à la covid-19 et a besoin d’actions énergiques pour sa relance. Fort de ce constat et dans le souci d’allier exigence sanitaire et nécessité économique, il a plu au Président de la République, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, d’autoriser cette activité dans le strict respect des mesures barrières édictées par le gouvernement.
« A travers ce geste, le Chef de l’Etat entend expérimenter la théorie de la relance de l’économie nationale par la consommation. Qu’il nous soit permis, du haut de cette tribune, d’exprimer toute notre admiration à Son Excellence Monsieur le Président de la République pour sa perspicacité dans la conduite des affaires de l’Etat et pour avoir apporté une réponse aux attentes des opérateurs économiques et des populations », a laissé entendre Comlan Nomadoli Yakpey.
Par ailleurs, le ministre du commerce Kodjo Sévon Tépé Adedze, qui a d’abord rappelé que la Foire de cette année se tient dans un contexte socio-économique caractérisé par la hausse généralisée par des prix de produits de première nécessité sous l’effet conjugué de la crise sanitaire avec son lot de mesure de confinement, l’extrémisme violent et la guerre géopolitique qui continue en Europe précise que cette reprise fera du bien aux entreprises.
« La foire de cette année, revient pour redonner de l’espoir aux entreprises nationales et de la sous-région. Il s’agit de donner une bouffée d’oxygène aux entreprises éprouvées par deux années de crise économique mondiale. Notons que le thème de l’édition de cette année est en parfaite adéquation avec la vision stratégique énoncée dans la feuille de route gouvernementale Togo 2020-2025 » a affirmé le ministre Kodzo Adedze.
Pour rappel, au cours de cette campagne de promotion, d’importantes activités de communication, notamment l’affichage des panneaux publicitaires ; la publicité audio-visuelle par les médias, les chaînes de télévision, de radio, la presse écrite et les médias en ligne ; les mailings ; les interviews sur les chaînes de télévision et de radio ; les caravanes de sensibilisation sont prévues.
