Un abcès qui s’aggrave sur un doigt de la main ou un orteil du pied, cela s’appelle un panaris (ou panari). Vous avez l’habitude de vous ronger les ongles ou de vous arracher les petites peaux ? Attention, un panaris peut apparaître rapidement.
𝑳𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔 est dû à une infection des tissus qui apparaît par des bactéries [le plus souvent un staphylocoque doré ou un streptocoque] autour de l’ongle (périonyxis) ou au niveau de la pulpe.
Le germe pénètre sous la peau à la suite d’une petite blessure qui passe parfois inaperçue et va se développer en 2 à 5 jours.
Les causes les plus fréquentes de panaris sont les manucures un peu trop agressives, les traumatismes des cuticules, l’arrachement des petites peaux, les ampoules, les échardes, les piqûres d’insectes, les morsures et griffures, etc.
Le panaris d’abord inflammatoire se collecte en un abcès en l’absence de traitement. Quand sa prise en charge est trop tardive, la chirurgie devient obligatoire.

Recette 5 Faire cuire dans la cendre ou dans le four, un oignon et le réduire en poudre ou en pommade et appliquer à chaud en emplâtre. A renouveler toutes les heures.
Recette 6 Faire cuire dans la cendre pendant 15 minutes du blanc de poireau enveloppé dans un papier mouillé ou dans une feuille de chou. Écraser et appliquer en cataplasme. Opération à renouveler plusieurs fois par jour
Recette 7 Râper une carotte et mettre la pâte ainsi recueillie autour de la partie douloureuse
Recette 8 Écraser un cafard et mettre en bandage sur le doigt malade
Comment réagir quand le panaris est superficiel ?
Lorsque le panaris est au stade inflammatoire, sans abcès, le traitement vise à faire régresser l’infection et à prévenir son extension.
Pour traiter un panaris léger, autrement dit pour le « faire mûrir », il faut plonger son doigt ou son orteil plusieurs fois par jour dans un bain d’eau tiède et de gros sel.
Un bain antiseptique avec de l’hexomédine transcutanée ou du dakin dilué peut aussi être utile.
Évitez l’eau de Javel, souvent citée comme remède de grand-mère, mais trop corrosive.
