Le Togo a répondu présent aux cinquièmes Jeux de la Solidarité Islamique Konya 2022 en Turquie du 9 au 18 août.Les athlètes togolais sont déjà rentrés à la maison avec une médaille d’argent obtenue dans l’épreuve des 100 m haie grâce à Naomi Akakpo.

Dans une lettre adressée au président AKPAKI ce 19 août 2022, la ministre des sports et des loisirs Mme Lidi BESSI- KAMA met en garde le Président du CNO- Togo sur le caractère politique son initiative. Elle rappelle à AKPAKI Ogoua le principe de neutralité politique qui est selon elle le fondement même du mouvement olympique.
