La Covid-19 ne cesse de dicter sa loi au monde entier. Basé sur la problématique de la pédagogie et recherche universitaires à l’ère du distantiel, le Syndicat de l’Enseignement Supérieur au Togo (SEST) a organisé, ce vendredi 19 février 2021, leur rentrée syndicale.
Au cours de la rencontre, deux panels se sont constitués en vue de réfléchir chacun sur les sous-thèmes. Il s’agit notamment de la pédagogie et recherche universitaire dans le contexte des cours à distance et engagement syndical malgré les contraintes de la distanciation sociale.
Abordant le sujet des défis qui les attendent, le Secrétaire Général du SEST a indiqué que « ces sous-thèmes admettent une corrélation évidente avec l’idée initiale de notre rencontre, cependant loin de se délester de son rôle de défenseur des exigences de sa base syndicale, le SEST rappelle que c’est également le moment de réaffirmer l’importance de rester mobiliser dans un contexte où on évite les regroupements ».
« Les défis qui nous attendent sont certainement assez importants, et bien au-delà de l’amélioration du cadre de vie et de travail de l’Enseignement du Supérieur, il s’agit également de penser davantage à la dispensation d’un enseignement de qualité en présentiel ou en distanciel. Nous ne sommes qu’au début de l’aventure des cours en ligne et ce contexte nouveau nécessaire des mesures préalables qu’il urgera d’appréhender », a ajouté le Sécretaire du SEST.
Le ministre en charge de l’Enseignement supérieur présent à l’ouverture a assuré les syndicalistes de l’ouverture du gouvernement pour toutes les discussions.
