« Une carte d’identité est présentée avec ma photo collée. Ça circule depuis quelques jours sur beaucoup de plateforme WhatsApp » a informé le Consul de Mauritanie SOW Mocktar avant d’ajouter que « des gens utilisent mon image pour arnaquer d’autres ».
Comment procèdent-ils?
Le mode opératoire consiste à tromper la vigilance de leurs cibles avec un coupon de la Loterie nationale togolaise (LONATO) falsifié en coupon gagnant accompagné des résultats du tirage et d’une carte d’identité pour mieux emballer leurs cibles auprès de qui, ils soutirent paisiblement de l’argent avec le message suivant :
