L’ex-Dahomey continue de lever des titres sur le marché de l’Union Monétaire Ouest Africaine (UMOA). Il y a 48h seulement, le Bénin a levé plus de 30 milliards, a appris TogoNyigba de source officielle.
Ce mardi 24 mai dernier, le Bénin était sur le marché financier régional. Selon une note d’information de l’agence UMOA-Titres, le trésor public béninois a levé 31,8 milliards de francs CFA pour 30 milliards mis en adjudication.
A travers des Bons Assimilables du trésor (BAT) émis le 24 mai, le Bénin a levé 31,8 milliards de francs CFA. Au départ, le pays recherchait 30 milliards, mais il a finalement retenu le montant total des 31,8milliards. Près de la moitié du montant des soumissions vient du Bénin, renseignent des médias locaux. En effet, dans le tableau des lieux de provenance, le Bénin vient en tête avec 14 800 milliards de francs CFA. Les autres pays représentés parmi les soumissionnaires sont le Burkina Faso, la Côte d’Ivoire et le Sénégal. Les titres émis sont remboursables le premier jour ouvré suivant la date d’échéance, le 23 mai 2023. Les intérêts (à taux multiple) sont payables d’avance et précomptés sur la valeur nominale des bons.
Une nouvelle émission prévue pour le 09 juin 2022. Lee jeudi 09 juin prochain, le trésor public du Bénin va probablement lever une nouvelle somme. Selon le calendrier de l’UMOA-Titres, le Bénin est à la recherche de 25 milliards de francs CFA pour le 09 juin. Il s’agit d’Obligations Assimilables du Trésor (OAT) de maturité initiale 5 ans avec un taux d’intérêt de 5,10%.
