Au Bénin, la police républicaine a procédé au au rapatriement d’au moins 103 prostituées d’origine nigériane. Ledit rapatriement a eu lieu le 27 avril dernier. Ces dernières ont été interpellées jeudi 20 avril 2023, par la police républicaine au quartier Louho, 5e arrondissement de Porto-Novo, lors d’une opération.
En effet, cela fait suite à l’arrestation ayant eu lieu, jeudi 20 avril 2023, à Cotonou. Des filles de joie et des cybercriminels avaient été arrêtés dans un bidonville de Porto-Novo. Ils ont ensuite été placés en garde à vue, depuis ce jour, dans le hall de la Brigade Economique et Financière (BEF).
Selon les informations rapportées, ces travailleuses de sexe résidaient au quartier Louho derrière l’hôpital El-Fathel à Porot-Novo. Elles ont été mises aux arrêts avec quelques cybercriminels qui s’étaient planqués chez elles, fuyant l’office Centrale de la répression de la cybercriminalité (OCRC).
Il convient de noter que le rapatriement a été officialisé. Les deux pays voisins sont au courant de l’affaire. Quant à ces prostituées, elles ont été conduites à la frontière de Sème-Kraké, dans le but de rejoindre leur nation d’origine.
Aussi, il convient de précisé que le propriétaire de l’immeuble où ces filles habitaient tirait des bénéfices de leurs prostitutions. Selon certaines sources, il est activement recherché par la police républicaine.
