Des chercheurs congolais présentent Doubase C, un antiviral qui soigne la Covid-19
En RDC, le CREPAT, le Centre de Recherche en Phytothérapie Pharmacopée Africaine et Technologies Pharmaceutique, a procédé à la présentation des résultats de ses recherches qui ont abouti à la mise en place de Doubase C, un médicament antiviral qui soigne la Covid-19 en plus ou moins 48 heures selon les chercheurs.
Fabriqué à base d’extraites de plantes médicinales que l’on trouve sur le sol congolais, cet antiviral serait capable de bloquer l’enzyme qui est à l’origine de la reproduction des virus. S’il n’a pas encore reçu une autorisation de mise sur le marché, ce médicament a été homologué il y a 3 ans par le ministère de la Santé pour lutter contre le VIH et les hépatites virales.

«Le Congo a toujours et encore des solutions à présenter à l’humanité ! ».Telle est la conviction que porte le pharmacien Constantin Bashengezi, Directeur Général de la CREPPAT, lors de la conférence tenu le samedi 22 mai dernier, dans la salle de conférence des Cliniques Universitaires.
En effet, il était question au cours de cette conférence de présenter aux yeux du monde, en général et à ceux du peuple congolais, en particulier, la magnificence du médicament « Doubase-C ». Une cure qui regorge multiples efficacités et se montre performant contre la Covid-19.
C’est face aux différentes autorités du pays notamment, le Ministre de la Recherche Scientifique et Innovation Scientifique, le Ministre de la Communication et Médias, le Ministre de l’ESU, le Ministre de la Défense Nationale, le Représentant de l’OMS, le DG du FPI, le Panel de l’UA et tant d’autres invités, que le pharmacien Constantin Bashengezi a exposé sur ses 33 ans des recherches qui ont donné vie au médicament « Doubase-C ».
Evidemment, lors de sa prise de parole, le pharmacien Bashengezi a révélé que des études in vitro et in vivo ont été menées pour prouver l’efficacité dudit médicament. «Des études prospectives ouvertes ont été menées contre le VIH, l’Hépatite C et contre la Covid-19 ; qui ont été présentées le mois dernier à Brazzaville… », a-t-il dit, en ajoutant que 86 patients positifs de la Covid-19 ont été sauvés. Aucun patient sous la cure du médicament Doubase-C n’a pu aller de stade léger au stade sévère endéans 10 jours de traitement. Les patients ont repris leurs activités socioprofessionnelles. De surcroit, le pharmacien a révélé que Doubase-C a la capacité d’améliorer le fonctionnement cardiaque des administrés.
De plus, les études menées sur le médicament Doubase-C ont selon le pharmacien Bashengezi, prouvé que le médicament n’est pas toxique. Une affirmation qui a été approuvée lors des essais menés à l’INRB.
De ce fait, avant de déposer son micro, le pharmacien Constantin Bashengezi a invité le gouvernement à trouver des financements pour la recherche scientifique et à l’OMS de sécuriser les scientifiques. «On ne peut pas être grand demain si l’on ne maitrise la science et la technologie», affirme-t-il.
