Le Forum économique mondial s’est ouvert lundi 16 janvier à Davos, une petite ville d’environ 10.000 habitants, nichée au coeur des Alpes suisses.

- Au total, près de 3000 membres des différents écosystèmes politiques, économiques ou de la société civile discuteront à Davos jusqu’à vendredi sous la thématique « Collaboration dans un monde fragmenté ».
- Au moins une cinquantaine de rencontres bilatérales sont au programme pour les conseillers fédéraux, dont un tiers environ pour le seul président de la Confédération Alain Berset. L’Ukraine figure surtout à l’agenda d’Ignazio Cassis et de Guy Parmelin.
- Sur place, Davos est barricadée. Plusieurs corps de police et 5000 militaires sont engagés pour protéger la station grisonne au sol et dans les airs contre le terrorisme, l’extrémisme et les cyberattaques. Une première manifestation a eu lieu dimanche.
