Invitée dans une émission sur la chaîne nationale, la Miss Togo 2022, Adjo Jacqueline Estelle Tossou, a fait des confidences sur les bad buzz auxquels son nom a été associé durant son mandat.
En effet, la Miss a été l’une des plus critiquées dans l’histoire de la compétition. L’on se souvient qu’après son élection, elle a été critiquée pour s’être montrée “débraillée” dans une vidéo qui a fait le tour de la toile. Elle s’est confiée à ce sujet.
“Après mon élection, je suis rentrée chez moi très fatiguée. J’avais hâte de revoir ma famille de qui je me suis séparée durant une semaine.
Lorsque mes amis du quartier ont appris que c’est moi qui ai été élue, ils se sont réveillés très tôt pour me surprendre chez moi. Je venais à peine de me réveiller et je n’ai pas eu le temps de m’arranger. Et malgré que je leur ai interdit de me filmer, leur joie était tellement immense qu’ils n’ont pas pu se contrôler”, a-t-elle confié.
Lorsque la question lui a été posée de savoir si elle a été victime de harcèlement s€xuel, elle a répondu : “Lorsque j’étais candidate, on m’a dit des choses surprenantes, notamment que je devrais coucher avec telle ou telle personne, que je devrais payer pour remporter la couronne.
Je n’ai rien fait de tout ça. Ce n’était que des rumeurs. J’ai remporté la couronne en toute transparence”.
