Le général de division Félix Abalo Kadangha est aux arrêts depuis jeudi 12 janvier 2023 dans une affaire non encore élucidée
L’ information selon laquelle hier l’«intouchable» général des forces armées togolaises (FAT), Félix Abalo Kadangha serait en garde à vue, qui d’abord a futée les réseaux sociaux et autres plates-formes digitales, s’est avérée réelle.
Le « tout-puissant » était déjà tombé en disgrâce en décembre 2020.
L’arrestation du général de brigade, beau frère du président Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé qui était l’ancien chef d’état major général des FAT, l’ex commandant de la Force d’intervention rapide (FIR), devenue BIR et aujourd’hui président de la Commission nationale de la lutte contre la prolifération, circulation et le trafic illicites des armes légères et de petits calibres (CNLPAL) suscite beaucoup de questions qui restent sans réponse pour l’heure.
D’aucun ne pouvait imaginer que l’«intouchable» général Kadangha aussi serait touché et mis aux arrêts au Togo.
Les grandes interrogations : Qui aurait orchestré son arrestation et pourquoi ? Que lui reproche t-on ? Est-ce une conséquence en lien avec le dernier remaniement au sein des forces armées togolaises ? Seulement les jours à venir pourront nous apporter des débuts de réponses à tous ces questionnements
D’autres sources bien informées qui ont requis l’anonymat indiquent que l’arrestation du général de division serait en lien avec un dossier sécuritaire très sensible qui concerne la grande muette.
Doit-on le rappeler que fin décembre 2022 à la surprise générale, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé opéra un remaniement par un décret au sein du haut commandement de l’armée togolaise.
Mme Essozimna Marguerite Gnakadè la désormais ex ministre des armées et le chef d’état major des FAT Dadja Maganawé ont été remercié par le président de la République.
Dans la foulée, un nouveau chef d’état major général des FAT a été nommé. Il s’agit du colonel Djato Tassouti, promus général de brigade avec comme adjoint kemence kokou oyonou qui était jusque-là le chef de la Division des Opérations de Maintien de la Paix.
Tassounti Djato, Colonel et Chef d’état-major de l’armée de l’air, a été d’abord nommé général de brigade aérien avant d’être promu à la tête du haut commandement militaire togolais.
Le colonel kodjo Ekpe est quant à lui, nommé chef d’état major particulier du chef de l’État Faure Gnassingbé, en lieu et place du général de brigade komlan Adjitowou.
Le président Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé serait-il déterminé à mettre fin aux abus tout azimuts de pouvoir (je suis tout puissant et je fais ce que je veux) en ce début d’année et partant combattre l’impunité dans son pays ?
Un autre coup d’éclat au sein des FAT dans les heures à venir ? En tout cas pour l’heure il serait difficile d’y répondre.
