Selon les informations rapportées par nos confrères de l’Agence de presse AfreePress, les autorités compétentes pensent rendre obligatoire la présentation du pass vaccinal dans nos marchés. Cette décision a été prise selon notre source lors d’une réunion tenue mardi 18 janvier dernier entre les responsables des différentes entités en charges de la gestion des marchés du grand Lomé et le ministre en charge de l’administration territoriale, Payadowa Boukpessi.
« On nous a expliqué que le variant Omicron, étant donné sa nature, peut facilement se propager sur nos marchés, ce qui serait une catastrophe. C’est un variant du Coronavirus qui circule dans la nature. C’est pourquoi l’autorité nous a demandé d’aller sensibiliser nos camarades à se faire vacciner pour éviter le pire. Ainsi, une période de deux semaines est accordée pour la sensibilisation. Après cette période, nous allons commencer le contrôle des PassCovid ou pass vaccinal à l’entrée des marchés » a déclaré à l’Agence de presse AfreePress l’un des participants à cette réunion.
Rappelons que selon le ministre d’État, cette mesure sera prise pour lutter contre le variant Omicron très contagieux et ravageur
