Le programme d’aide et de solidarité sociale dénommé NOVISSI a été réactivé dans la région septentrionale du Togo il y a de cela une dizaine de jours. Et déjà, 830 millions de FCFA sont déjà sortis de la caisse publique de l’Etat.
Prévu pour deux semaines, Novissi a déjà touché 144 000 personnes en tout, soit 84 346 femmes à raison de 6 125 FCFA chacune et 59 675 hommes à raison de 5 250 FCFA chacun.
Les zones géographiques concernées pour cette deuxième phase sont les préfectures de Cinkassé, Kpendjal, Kpendjal ouest, Oti, Oti-Sud, Tandjouaré et Tône (soit toute la région des Savanes).
Ce programme est d’une importance capitale pour la population togolaise et elle est principalement initiée afin d’atténuer les effets néfastes du Covid-19 sur l’économie du Pays.
